AMETEK, Inc. and Faro Technologies, Inc., announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which AMETEK will acquire all outstanding shares of Faro Technologies common stock for $44 per share in cash, which represents an approximate 40% premium to Faro’s closing price on May 5, 2025.

The WENZEL Group and VisiConsult have signed a cooperation agreement for a development and sales partnership at the Control 2022 exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany. The cooperation agreement is intended to jointly expand the successes achieved to date in the field of computed tomography (CT)-based metrology solutions.

VisiConsult is the specialist for X-ray image processing and automation. The company’s focus is on standard X-ray booths and customized special systems as well as the development of software for the operation of these systems, in image processing and automatic defect recognition (ADR).
