- IP 65 or IP 67 Protection: Solartron's Displacement LVDTs feature IP 65 or IP 67 protection to safeguard internal electronic components from environmental factors. Measurement sensors also offer IP 68 protection options.

- Customization: Displacement LVDT sensors can be customized with special materials such as corrosion-resistant steel to resist saltwater and humid environments. Additionally, special sensor heads, cables, and connectors can be integrated.

- High Resolution: Solartron LVDT sensors provide resolutions up to 0.01 micron, detecting even the smallest changes in measurements that Linear Encoders cannot provide.

- Multiple Output Types: Solartron offers various output options including DC, 4-20mA, TTL, and similar formats.

The AXR sensor can operate at temperatures as low as -40°C. They are installed on antennas at the ALMA project in Chile, where temperatures range from -20 to +40°C
