The new model features the same record high 0.1% basic accuracy and unrivalled features such as AC/DC voltage/current measurements, oscilloscope mode, Diode/LED tests, frequency meter, super large capacitance testing, signal generator, continuity/open testing, 100 kHz test frequency and more.

A few features that set MPA apart from similar devices including: testing Large and Super Large Capacitances up to 640 mF; a wide range of test frequencies (100, 120 Hz, 1, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 75 and 100 kHz)

As for internally, MPA now offers three test signal levels: 0.1, 0.5 and 1 Vrms. Being able to test at 1 Vrms is very important for accuracy while testing ceramic capacitors.
