The full range of REVO sensors is available to AGILITY CMM users, including touch and scan probes, surface roughness, temperature, ultrasonic thickness gauges, and non-contact probes.

•  AGILITY® S CMM is designed for the shop floor environment: it provides accurate measurement of parts in the shop floor without worrying about temperature conditions. It offers fast data acquisition thanks to its 5-axis measuring technology, which reduces inspection cycle times and improves product quality in mass production environments. The AGILITY® S CMM system works well on both standalone and fully automated production lines.
• AGILITY® give fast results at the point of production: Results are collected at or near the point of production, which enables much faster troubleshooting decisions. This replaces the traditional method of detailed routing to centralized inspection areas and multi-level hierarchical work cycles.
•  AGILITY® Minimize operations: The sensing capabilities of the 5-axis probe system allow users to set up a program that combines multiple tests during the measurement cycle. This allows production departments to control and report dimensional measurement results and surface roughness annotations in the same session. The AGILITY® S CMM thus directly reduces the installation space of different measuring machines and simplifies the measurement process.

• Reduced uptime and maximum performance: The Renishaw Lightning Drive™ brushless linear motor provides smooth, backlash-free axis motion, eliminating complex belt mechanisms that can wear out over time. • Low maintenance and long-life components: Renishaw’s UCC 5-axis control system minimizes machine movement throughout the inspection cycle. The REVO probe does the bulk of the work, eliminating accelerations and decelerations that can damage the machine structure.
• Protect your specimens from environmental factors: AGILITY CMMs feature an enhanced and enclosed Y-axis drive system, which protects components from airborne contaminants in uncontrolled environments. • Flexible racking positions: The AGILITY CMM’s wide range of mounting positions allows for complete flexibility in the location of the racking system. In addition, the side mounting option provides a clear path through the machine for workpiece loading systems.
• Fully usable measuring volume: The AGILITY S machines for the production area are available in variants with increased working space. This allows the use of workpiece loading systems or turntables without reducing the available measuring volume.

• Perfect positioning: Renishaw’s VIONiC™ readout and thermal stability gauge, together with precision temperature sensors, minimize thermal errors across the entire measurement volume.
• Industry-leading calibration and verification: All AGILITY CMMs are mapped, verified and maintained using Renishaw’s XM-600 or XL-80 calibration systems.
• Optimal material selection: The use of granite for the machine frame’s fixed parts gives the AGILITY CMM superior strength and vibration damping properties. The kinematic parts, made of anodized aluminium, ensure measurement accuracy across the entire range of axis motion by eliminating differential expansion or warping.
